As a Guest in an online multi-media hotMeeting, you view presentations given by Presenters or Moderators, and communicate with other participants using voice and text chat.
How to join a hotMeeting
Download, install and start hotComm CL.
Enter an Identity* (the name others see) and check your audio sound.
Click the hotMeeting weblink that the meeting organizer gives you.
Macintosh users and anyone who is prevented from downloading software from the Internet, please see Browser Client.
* The Identity you enter is saved.
Checking Audio
Please check your audio before the meeting starts, to ensure that your hotComm is configured correctly for hotComm's TrueSpeech voice-over-IP technology. Also take this opportunity to set your speaker and microphone volume.
To check audio, right-click the hotComm icon in the lowest right corner of your entire screen and select Change Identity. Then click Test Sound.
