Bridged Sessions

You can present/broadcast the same, text (i.e. typing) visuals and audio into two rooms at the same time. We call this a "Bridged Session".

Requirements

1. The presenter must have a hotComm Multi-Pro license (not just a Presenter Pro license).

2. The rooms must be on different relay servers; you can only include one room per server

3. You can bridge two rooms (the first room and the second room).

4. There must be at least one user with hotComm Standard/Pro, hotComm Lite or hotComm CL in each of the rooms, other than you. If a room doesn't have anyone else in it, or has only Java users, audio won't broadcast in that room.

5. Only ONE person at a time is allowed to create a bridge to the second room. At this time, it is possible for multiple people to bridge into the second room, but please do not do this, as it causes problems such as garbled typing.

How to conduct a bridged session:

1. Join the first room as a moderator as usual.

2. In your Users List, click on the relay server for the second room, then right-click on the second room and select "Create Bridged Session".

3. In the first room (the main room), turn on your camera and mic as usual, and give your presentation. (You'll see the camera and mic automatically turn on in the second room as well.)

4. To leave the second room, close the session window, or click Session, then Close Session.
