The hotComm SuperJava client uses proprietary technology for presenting real-time graphics and Voice-over-IP audio. Your experience depends in part on your computer configuration and Internet connections, and -- most importantly -- compatibility with hotComm technology.
Please see the following troubleshooting tips.
Audio
-
If you lose audio during an Event, disconnect and reconnect.
-
If audio is a problem, you can use hotComm CL instead. Click here to download and install hotComm CL: Download hotComm CL.
Slides and Charts
-
If you do not see slides or charts, disable any pop-up blocking software that you might have. Pop-up blockers are included in many toolbars and browsers, such as Google, Yahoo, and Internet Explorer.
-
If the charts stop updating, disconnect and reconnect.
-
In some Events, new charts are minimized on your Windows taskbar.
Connectivity
-
If you are disconnected often, use hotComm CL instead. Click here to download and install hotComm CL: Download hotComm CL.
-
If you have a satellite, dial-up or IDSN connection, use hotComm CL.
More Information
-
To verify that your computer will work correctly with hotComm technology, visit the hotComm Audio Test Room. Click Audio Test and wait for at least 15 seconds for the pre-recorded message.

See FAQ - hotComm SuperJava.

hotComm works on Windows XP and Windows 2000. The connection requires Java support. Audio requires a sound card in your computer, up-to-date sound drivers, and DirectX 8.1 or higher.
