Room Controls
These room controls are available to hotComm Standard/Pro moderators.
Close This Room
Reset Room Sound and Cams
Clear All Transcripts
No Trial Posting in Room
Transcript Filter
To use them:
- Log into the room as a moderator.
- Select Session and then the option you want.
Close This Room
This disconnects everyone from the room and closes it.
Reset Room Sound and Cams
Turn off all microphones and cameras. Clear all audio and video settings and restore to default.
Use this if you are having persistent audio problems in the room.
Clear All Transcripts
Delete the contents of the transcript. This affects the immediate room transcript, the copy of the transcript saved on the server (if any), and copies of this transcript stored on the computers of anyone currently connected to the room.
Use this if someone has posted something that you do not want saved in any form.
No Trial Posting in Room
Do not allow messages from trial users to be posted into the transcript. A trial user is someone using a hotComm trial. Their name appears in orange in the Invited List.
Transcript Filter
hotComm Standard/Pro moderators can filter users' messages before they are posted into the transcript. This allows you to answer questions privately or eliminate inappropriate messages before they are posted. See Transcript Filter.
