Gimickry

Gimickry is a set of features that you can enable or disable as a group.

To set Gimickry, select Options, then Gimickry.

The features are:

  • Indent Transcript
  • Sounds coming into a Room
  • Sounds from the Room
  • Raise Hand
  • Emoticons
When Gimickry is disabled, it:
  • Hides Raise Hand, Smiley face emoticons and Sounds buttons.
  • Sets Audio button to Mute-Gun+.
  • Doesn't display emoticons or Raise Hand in transcript.
A room Moderator can disable Gimickry for Public users through Session Control.
