You can use hotWeb to take others on a web tour. Web pages open in a hotWeb window.

To give a web tour:

  1. Enter an address in the hotWeb toolbar address area, or select a site from the Favorites list.

The site opens in a hotWeb window.

  2. In the hotWeb window, select the Collaboration menu and then a navigation option.

    Option Description
Navigate Others can click links and navigate as well.
Exclusive You are the only one who can navigate.

Note: hotComm CL guests cannot navigate.

  3. Click links on the pages to navigate.

Note that hotWeb does not support:

    • Scroll bar. Use your cursor keys to move up and down a page; do not use your scroll bar.

    • Form entries. Others cannot see you enter information in forms.

    • Password protected pages or pages that rely on local cookies.

Once hotWeb opens, anyone can email or save a screenshot of the page, print it, and save the page as offline web content. See hotWeb window.
